Being a wireless technology, the EnOcean standard lays the technological foundation for organic systems and is the central key for intelligent "green" buildings. EnOcean sensors can be applied to glass walls or individually placed wherever the customer would like them to be. By contrast to other wireless systems, no batteries are being used, the radio transmitters run on solar cells15 or piezo technology.
